Yes you don't want to have long term care, but if you need custodial care you should have it. Think, you wanna lead a happy life after you take retirement from the work, but unable to do so. Because you are not even able to perform your daily activities due to illness. None of your family members are able to help you even they want to. Then certainly you need a person who can take care of you. Who takes you out for a regular walking. Feeds you food like a baby. Gives you medicine in time. These can be done if you are covered by a policy.
Even though the Medicare & Medicaid are there, they cover only a few of the custodial expenses.
Still beneficial to have a LTC Policy.
